Description Eric Harney 2021-08-25 16:52:28 UTC
The RBD clone v2 API allows us to delete images that are present in a chain of RBD image dependencies. This RFE tracks test cases related to deletion of volumes when using the clone v2 API.

Comment 4 Alan Bishop 2021-08-25 17:07:22 UTC
I'm envisioning a new CinderRbdTrashPurgeInterval THT parameter. But, as discussed in an email thread, the larger efforts will likely involve ceph-ansible and cephadm.

Comment 5 Luigi Toscano 2021-08-30 14:59:29 UTC
The THT part of this is now tracked by bug 1999155.

Comment 10 Gregory Charot 2022-06-09 16:56:14 UTC
We are postponing this RFE to 17.1 because we don't yet have sufficient coverage upstream and we won't be able to support this for 17.0GA.
