Comment 12 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2021-09-06 15:34:54 UTC
Proposed as a Blocker for 35-beta by Fedora user alciregi using the blocker tracking app because:

When using a dedicated installer image, the installer must be able to complete an installation using the text, graphical and VNC installation interfaces.

Comment 13 Lukas Ruzicka 2021-09-07 08:59:11 UTC
I can successfully reproduce this behaviour.

Comment 14 Adam Williamson 2021-09-07 17:14:18 UTC
Discussed at 2021-09-06 blocker/FE review meeting: https://meetbot-raw.fedoraproject.org/fedora-blocker-review/2021/fedora-blocker-review.2021-09-06-16.00.html . Rejected as a Beta blocker as it's not really a significant enough violation of the cited criterion (it's only broken if you do some fairly unusual messing with NTP servers, and we think that's OK for Beta). But accepted as an FE as it is an installer crash, and those are always worth fixing and can't be fixed with an update.

Comment 15 Adam Williamson 2021-09-07 17:27:04 UTC
Proposing as a Final blocker as there was some support for this in the meeting.

Comment 16 Vendula Poncova 2021-09-13 13:41:40 UTC
Fixed in a pull request: https://github.com/rhinstaller/anaconda/pull/3606
