With this release, DataCenter/Cluster compatibility level 4.7 has been added, which is available only on hosts with RHEL 8.6 or later, on the latest CentOS Stream 8 and CentOS Stream/RHEL 9 with libvirt 8.0.0 or later installed.

Cluster level 4.7 will be available only on CentOS Stream 9 hosts or RHEL 8.6 + AV 8.6 hosts This will be useful also for storage. We will need it for: - Detecting if scratch disks can be extended automatically - Detecting if host support disk format conversion - Maybe for using qcow2 format by default to enable incremental backup by We need libvirt 7.10 for bug 2017928, blocking bug 1913387. Verified by automation runs. Data center and cluster 4.7 found in last build: 4.5.0-0.237.el8ev This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.5.0 release, published on April 20th 2022. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.5.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
