Backported.

I tested it with vSphere 4.10, ODF 4.9.

Steps to reproduce:
1. I deployed a vSphere 4.10 cluster, without ODF.
2. Search in the "OperatorHab" the ODF operator.
3. Clicked on it and saw that it shows the ODF 4.9 installation without breaking.

There is just one problem...
I tried to install the ODF 4.9 and at the end of the process, it leads to a 404 error.
This is related to the BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2032984.
Please let me know what do you think.

Comment 18 Mudit Agarwal 2022-01-28 07:02:23 UTC
Because of a build issue we missed consuming the release-4.9-compatibility branch in the last 4.9.2 RC build, that is the reason we had to create a new RC build for 4.9.2, this branch contains the fix for BZ 203336.
Requesting QE to consume the same for 4.9.2, sorry for the inconvenience.

Comment 20 Mugdha Soni 2022-01-28 09:13:27 UTC
Hi

I tested with the following builds :-

[root@localhost musoni-4-10-0]# oc get clusterversion
NAME VERSION AVAILABLE PROGRESSING SINCE STATUS
version 4.10.0-0.nightly-2022-01-27-221656 True False 30m Cluster version is 4.10.0-0.nightly-2022-01-27-221656

[root@localhost musoni-4-10-0]# oc get csv odf-operator.v4.9.2 -o yaml -n openshift-storage| grep full_version
    full_version: 4.9.2-10
          f:full_version: {}

NAME DISPLAY VERSION REPLACES PHASE
mcg-operator.v4.9.2 NooBaa Operator 4.9.2 mcg-operator.v4.9.1 Succeeded
ocs-operator.v4.9.2 OpenShift Container Storage 4.9.2 ocs-operator.v4.9.1 Succeeded
odf-operator.v4.9.2 OpenShift Data Foundation 4.9.2 odf-operator.v4.9.1 Succeeded

Observations :-

1. The ODF dashboard is present under storage.
2. When clicked on odf dashboard there is no 404 error and all the details are present .(Screenshot for same is attached in comment #19)

Hence moving this bug to verified.

Thanks
Mugdha Soni
