OCP 4.10 removed some components previously present in the SDK. We need to update the compatibility branch of odf-console 4.9 to support OCP 4.10

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: 1/1

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Storage -> ODF
2.
3.

Dashboard is Breaking

Expected results:
Dashboard should not break

Additional info:
Updates to SDK version and references to Dashboard Components needs to be updated.
This needs to be fixed in ODF z stream before OCP 4.10 releases.

Hi
ODF Dashboard is breaking with the builds :-

OCP :- 4.10.0-0.nightly-2022-01-26-234447

[root@localhost odf4-10]# oc get csv -n openshift-storage
NAME DISPLAY VERSION REPLACES PHASE
mcg-operator.v4.9.2 NooBaa Operator 4.9.2 mcg-operator.v4.9.1 Succeeded
ocs-operator.v4.9.2 OpenShift Container Storage 4.9.2 ocs-operator.v4.9.1 Succeeded
odf-operator.v4.9.2 OpenShift Data Foundation 4.9.2 odf-operator.v4.9.1 Succeeded

[root@localhost odf4-10]# oc get csv odf-operator.v4.9.2 -o yaml -n openshift-storage| grep full_version
    full_version: 4.9.2-9
          f:full_version: {}

Thanks
Mugdha

Mugdha,

This bug is targeted for 4.10, so ideally we need to put a 4.10 build in the Fixed in Version field but that will not help you to test it as you need a ODF 4.9 + ODF 4.10 combo to test.
My suggestion is to test the issue with its 4.9.z clone BZ #2033366. We have a fix in 4.10 also because every fix needs to go in main but it does not affect ODF 4.10
So, for ODF 4.10 you can just run the regression.

Bipul, please correct me if I am wrong.

Comment 17 Mudit Agarwal 2022-01-31 06:29:33 UTC
This bug was fixed long back in 4.10, please use any of the latest 4.10 build.

Just to reiterate, there are two combinations:

1) ODF 4.9 + OCP 4.10
2) ODF 4.10 + OCP 4.10

For 1), please use BZ #2033366
For 2), use this BZ

Comment 19 Mugdha Soni 2022-01-31 12:59:52 UTC
Hi

** Tested with the following builds :-

OCP :- 4.10.0-0.nightly-2022-01-31-012936

ODF :-

[root@localhost odf-410]# oc get csv odf-operator.v4.10.0 -o yaml -n openshift-storage| grep full_version
    full_version: 4.10.0-122
          f:full_version: {}

**Observations :-

1. The ODF dashboard is present under storage.
2. When clicked on odf dashboard there is no 404 error and all the details are present (Screenshot for same is attached in comment#18) .
3. Storage system status is missing in the status card (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2043034)

I believe we can mark this bug as verified .

Comment 20 Bipul Adhikari 2022-02-01 05:18:59 UTC
This can be moved to verified as well.

Comment 21 Mugdha Soni 2022-02-01 10:50:02 UTC
Based on comment#19 moving the bug to verified state.

Thanks
