Description Fedora Release Engineering 2022-01-25 15:53:32 UTC
openssl failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f36

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81461151

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix openssl at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
openssl will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 37,
openssl will be retired, if it still fails to build.

For more details on the FTBFS policy, please visit:

Comment 5 Sahana Prasad 2022-01-27 14:38:31 UTC
This build is missing a patch - 0031-tmp-Fix-test-names.patch
But even after adding it, there are failures as reported in
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2047295

This PR is updated and waiting on this bug fix/investigation

Comment 6 Ben Cotton 2022-02-08 20:28:13 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.

Comment 7 Dmitry Belyavskiy 2022-03-28 13:01:11 UTC
I believe this can be closed now after upgrade to 3.0.2
