openssl failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f36 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81461151 For details on the mass rebuild see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild Please fix openssl at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks, openssl will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 37, openssl will be retired, if it still fails to build. *** Bug 2045555 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This build is missing a patch - 0031-tmp-Fix-test-names.patch But even after adding it, there are failures as reported in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2047295 This PR is updated and waiting on this bug fix/investigation https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openssl/pull-request/19
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle. Changing version to 36.
I believe this can be closed now after upgrade to 3.0.2
