Description Carl George 🤠 2022-01-26 07:00:53 UTC
Please branch and build python-httpcore in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain python-httpcore in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS carlwgeorge).

Comment 1 Fabian Affolter 2022-01-26 09:23:36 UTC
That request depends on the availability of httpcore's requirements.

Comment 2 Carl George 🤠 2022-03-05 00:31:50 UTC
All of httpcore's run time requirements [0] are now available in the epel9 buildroot, with updates pending to release them to the repos. Once PR#3 [1] is merged, the package should build fine for epel9. I'm still working on the buildrequirements for the tests so we can enable them on epel9 at a later date.

I'm still happy to become a co-maintainer to do the epel9 build myself if you do not have time. Alternatively, you can add the python-sig group to the package and I can request the epel9 branch that way.
