IBM team was helping us to test this feature and based on the update from them the feature was tested on ODF build 4.10.0-138 and storage class based encryption worked as expected. Based on the same feedback, I am moving this bugzilla to verified. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
