Description of problem: When using a gnome bundled software, mouse click stops working and the software window is frozen. Keyboard works fine. The issue happens after a period of time (125 days, 70 days, 48 days) after login into the GUI without logout. The issue is reproducible with gnome-terminal, files(nautilus), system monitor, settings、calculator.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mutter-3.32.2-60


How reproducible: Always ( at customer's end )


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Keep logged in to GUI for ~48-49 days
2. Try using applications like gnome-terminal, files(nautilus), system monitor, settings、calculator.
3. Check if mouse click works or the application window responds

Actual results: The software window freezes. Mouse click doesn't work.


Expected results: Software shouldn't freeze.
