Description Rahul Bhalerao 2006-09-18 13:22:31 UTC
Description of problem:
When following type of combination is typed:
   consonant + 0b4d + 0b2f
(0b4d+0b2f) forms a phala, but when the combination is followed by
any consonant, the phala formed earlier is lost and a new phala of the
final consonant is created to join with 0b2f.

i.e. Final output becomes,
  consonant1 + 0b2f + (0b4d+ consonant2)

Patch No. 9

This Patch needs a complementary patch for Pango.

Comment 2 Rahul Bhalerao 2006-09-21 07:55:44 UTC
The bug has fixes in Pango and font as well.
Patches submitted on the bug #207456 and #206581 solves the problem.

Comment 3 Matthew Miller 2007-04-06 17:08:40 UTC
Fedora Core 5 and Fedora Core 6 are, as we're sure you've noticed, no longer
test releases. We're cleaning up the bug database and making sure important bug
reports filed against these test releases don't get lost. It would be helpful if
you could test this issue with a released version of Fedora or with the latest
development / test release. Thanks for your help and for your patience.

[This is a bulk message for all open FC5/FC6 test release bugs. I'm adding
myself to the CC list for each bug, so I'll see any comments you make after this
and do my best to make sure every issue gets proper attention.]

Hi Rahul,
can you please check whether this is output required?

Comment 7 Rahul Bhalerao 2008-01-17 13:31:01 UTC
The image is correct and the fixes for this bug are already done.
