I will take this review. Same problem as with python-mrcfile when building for Rawhide: + cd vcert-python-0.14.0 + %py3_build RPM build errors: /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.WQSUwx: line 42: fg: no job control error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.WQSUwx (%build) Can %pyproject_wheel and %pyproject_install be used? Builds fine for me in rawhide mock. Have you tried scrubbing your mock rawhide buildroot and retrying? Similar to mrcfile, this project doesn't have pyproject.toml file, only setup.py. Yes, that was the problem. The package builds fine now, but cannot be installed: Error: Problem: conflicting requests - nothing provides python3.10dist(certvalidator) <= 0.11.1 needed by python3-vcert-0.14.0-1.fc37.noarch - nothing provides python3.10dist(cryptography) = 36.0.1 needed by python3-vcert-0.14.0-1.fc37.noarch - nothing provides python3.10dist(pynacl) = 1.5 needed by python3-vcert-0.14.0-1.fc37.noarch - nothing provides python3.10dist(ruamel-yaml) = 0.17.20 needed by python3-vcert-0.14.0-1.fc37.noarch (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or '--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages) It turns out I need two more packages: python-certvalidator and python-oscrypto. I'll submit review bugs shortly. This review request ticket hasn't been updated for some time. We're sorry it is taking so long. If you're still interested in packaging this software into Fedora repositories, please respond to this comment clearing the NEEDINFO flag. You may want to update the specfile and the src.rpm to the latest version available and to propose a review swap on Fedora devel mailing list to increase chances to have your package reviewed. If this is your first package and you need a sponsor, you may want to post some informal reviews. Read more at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_get_sponsored_into_the_packager_group. Without any reply, this request will shortly be considered abandoned and will be closed. Thank you for your patience. This is still pending the python-certvalidator review. No longer interested in packaging this. |
