Description Akira Imamura 2006-10-18 15:57:52 UTC
Description of problem:
kdump service doesn't show the result of routines so clearly. It only
shows [ OK ] or [FAILED]. I think routine kind should be shown
with a result.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kexec-tools-1.101-99.el5

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just start, stop, or restart kdump service.
2.
3.

Actual results:
kdump service shows a result as below whatever it does
                                                           [ OK ]
or
                                                           [FAILED]

Expected results:
kdump service shows a result as below
just after it starts up:
Starting kdump: [<RESULT>]

just after it stops:
Stopping kdump: [<RESULT>]

just after it restarts:
Stopping kdump: [<RESULT>]
Starting kdump: [<RESULT>]

OK or FAILED is shown as each <RESULT>.
