Description of problem:

  cups-brf needs to be run as root, otherwise it leaves error messages
  in journal

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

  cups-filters-1.20.0-27.el8.x86_64

How reproducible:

  100%

Steps to Reproduce:

  Run "lpinfo -v"

Actual results:

  Error messages in journal:

  Sep 20 16:25:00 rhel860-test cupsd[36618]: [cups-deviced] Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/cups-brf (PID 36652)
  Sep 20 16:25:00 rhel860-test cupsd[36618]: [CGI] cups-brf must be called as root
  Sep 20 16:25:00 rhel860-test cupsd[36618]: [cups-deviced] PID 36652 (cups-brf) stopped with status 1!

  cups-brf missing in output of "lpinfo -v"

Expected results:

  [root@rhel860-test ~]# lpinfo -v
  network ipps
  network socket
  file cups-brf:/
  ...

  No additional errors in the journal:

Additional info:

  Fixed in Fedora and RHEL 9.
  Unfixed in RHEL 8.
