Are you sure that makes really sense? Upstream says at https://unicap-imaging.org/unicap/

Yes. this is needed for opencv, this is part of my work to resolve opencv's build requires.

I'm in doubt, thus I filed bug #2130270 (especially as current opencv 4.6.0 doesn't support it anymore, if I get it correct).

since opencv doesn't need this package anymore, i am closing the bug
