Well, (for KDE and gnome-screensaver, I don't know) * on xscreensaver-5.01-3.fc6, webcollage is already disabled by default. * webcollage in 5.01 now supports the option '-directory <dir>' which does not use internel connection. For netpbm-progs dependency, yes, webcollage and vidwhacker has the dependency for netpdm-progs, however, 'most' hacks work without this and splitting webcollage and vidwhacker from -extras packages by this dependency seems of little sense. Well, I cannot reproduce your situation. For xscreensaver, you can manually disable each hack even you choose "Random Screen Saver" mode. ping? Closing as NOTABUG, although I made some change on webcollage in xscreensaver-5.01-4. |
