Description of problem:
synaptic depends on libapt-pkg-libc6.4-6.so.2 which no longer is present in apt-0.5.15lorg3.2-8.fc6 which causes an update to fail.

1. yum upgrade

Thanks for the heads-up. apt had to be rebuilt for ppc changes which by itself
doesn't require any dependent package to be rebuilt. But apt has a bad habit of
adding the glibc's version to its libraries' sonames and that changes since the
last build ... :/

A rebuilt has been queued in.
