I think this should be included in RHEL-5 too. I would prefere to upgrade to upstream traceroute-2.0.3. If it is not possible I can create patch. Changes since previous release: > * version 2.0.3 > > * allow option args without separator (add CLIF_MAY_JOIN_ARG flag), > for compatibility (Benjamin LaHaise) > > * no more "tcptraceroute" symlink for rpm packages, because > it conflicts with the same-name old package anyway (James Ralston) > > * fix compilation on glibc < 2.4 (Andy Shevchenko) This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux major release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Major release. This request is not yet committed for inclusion. This issue should be fixed in traceroute-2.0.1-3.el5. An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For more information on the solution and/or where to find the updated files, please follow the link below. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2007-1103.html |
