Description fedepell 2023-07-11 02:23:53 UTC
The python-erfa package is currently not present in EPEL9. As I need it for the project of my org, I did some local tests myself and the package builds out of the box with the current spec file, besides needing to disable tests (due to currently missing python-pytest-astropy), now that the erfa (erfa-devel) dependency is also coming to EPEL9 (currently in testing).

So could you kindly request the branch for epel9 and merge the spec file, with the test disabled, also there?

Also: If I can help maintaining the package (at least on EPEL) I'd gladly do so in the future (FAS id: fedepell) if you assign me for this.

Many thanks!
Federico

Reproducible: Always

Will you be able to branch and build python-pyerfa in epel9?
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish
to build it on epel9 (FAS: fedepell).

Thanks!

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle.
Changing version to 39.
