Missing dependencies:
libidn - missing in epel8 BZ #2283870
loudmouth - missing in epel9 BZ #2280404
libev - mising in epel8/9 BZ #2283871
python3-bson - provided by python-mongo, not available on epel8 BZ #2283872

Available dependencies:
python3-pyev - available, but probably not working without libev
udns - available 8/9
libdasm - available 8/9
libemu  - available 8/9

In the meanwhile till the dependencies get fixed in EPEL you can use COPR build to install dionaea on epel8 / epel9

Very happy to hear from you, I succesfully tested via copr on epel9.
But no package available on epel8.

FEDORA-2024-7183c8a91b has been pushed to the Fedora 40 testing repository.
Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command:
