Description Enrique 2023-10-20 20:57:16 UTC
Description of problem:

Currently EPEL 9 repository doesn't include the python3-pytest-remotedata package. It would be very useful if that package is included in the EPEL 9 repository.

I have created a package from rawhide with "mock -r alma+epel-9-x86_64 --rebuild python-pytest-remotedata-0.3.3-7.el9.src.rpm" and it builds fine. The SRPM was created from the specfile in rawhide (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pytest-remotedata/tree/rawhide).

This package is needed to have astropy packaged for EPEL 9.

This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
