Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 41-beta by Fedora user chimosky using the blocker tracking app because: Most of the sugar-* package FTBFS for f41, they now build like they should. FEDORA-2024-d3eb422741 (sugar-abacus-61-13.fc41, sugar-artwork-0.121-4.fc41, and 29 more) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 41. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-d3eb422741 Can you please clarify whether these fixes make Sugar *work* any better than before? There's no need for an FE purely to fix FTBFS. (In reply to Adam Williamson from comment #6) > Can you please clarify whether these fixes make Sugar *work* any better than > before? There's no need for an FE purely to fix FTBFS. Yes it does, it includes a patch which corrects the use of logging in Sugar and another which updates the use of empy in Sugar, both would prevent Sugar from building and working as expected. FEDORA-2024-d3eb422741 (sugar-abacus-61-13.fc41, sugar-artwork-0.121-4.fc41, and 29 more) has been pushed to the Fedora 41 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
