For details on the mass rebuild see:

Please fix sugar-clock at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
sugar-clock will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 42,
sugar-clock will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2024-09-11 13:11:01 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 41-beta by Fedora user chimosky using the blocker tracking app because:

Most of the sugar-* package FTBFS for f41, they now build like they should.

Can you please clarify whether these fixes make Sugar *work* any better than before? There's no need for an FE purely to fix FTBFS.

Yes it does, it includes a patch which corrects the use of logging in Sugar and another which updates the use of empy in Sugar, both would prevent Sugar from building and working as expected.
