I would like to support the qt5 packages (except webengine) in epel10 for as long as Fedora supports qt5.  To do that I need the qt5 packages so I can get the macros.

Please branch and build qt5 in epel10

If you do not wish to maintain qt5 in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS tdawson);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/qt5/adduser

You could also add the KDE SIG as co-maintainers if you want.

Will you be able to branch and build qt5 in epel10?
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish
to build it on epel10 (FAS: tdawson).

It also might be good to add the KDE SIG as co-maintainers if you want.

The kde-sig has already been added to the package, and a branching request has been made.
There's just some infrastructure issue preventing branching requests from being done.

Once that's gone through, I'll get the package built, and put into override.
There are several packages waiting for this and I don't think we want to have to wait two days for it.

qt5-5.15.14-3.el10_0 has been built.
It is in bodhi here - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2024-1eabe4834c
I also have put it in overrides, and it is now in the epel10 buildroot.  So you can build on it.

Even though you can build with it, I will keep this bug open until it reaches stable.
