Description of problem:
Synoptics touchpad is not recognized.

2.6.19-1.2895.fc6, 2.6.19-1.2911.fc6, 2.6.20-1.2947.fc7

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot any of these kernels.

  
Actual results:
Synoptics touchpad not recognized.

Expected results:
Synoptics touchpad automagically recognition.

Touchpad is not automagically recognized on HP500 notebook.

Tested kernel-2.6.20-1.2938.fc6.i686.rpm.
The issue prevails.

Patch is in kernel 1.2952, in testing, should be released today.

Dmitry's commit solved the issue. Both vanilla and 1.2952 automagically
recognize the touchpad.
