Description Xavier Bachelot 2024-10-03 12:35:00 UTC
Hi,

Could you please branch and build aalib for EPEL 10 ?
It is needed to build another package.

Regards,
Xavier

As mentioned in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2316386, gpm-devel BuildRequires is dubious and it doesn't seem to be a hard requirement.
Here's a PR that drops this BR on EL10 and also some drive-by cleanups:

Comment 2 Xavier Bachelot 2024-10-05 10:45:03 UTC
@spot has merged the PR, aalib as found in rawhide builds fine against EPEL 10, now that the gpm dependency has been made optional.
Could you please build it ?
Or alternatively, please add me (FAS: xavierb) and/or multimedia SIG to the package so I can take care of it on my own.

Ping, I'd really to get aalib into EPEL 10. Could you please take care of it or givz me (xavierb) and/or Multimedia SIG (multimedia-sig) rights to do it ?
