Description of problem:
drwx------ 1 root root 14 Sep 29 16:21 /usr/share/mdadm

The file is packaged, so not providing read access to users on it is not useful [1]. It breaks 'find' by normal users, makes it harder to build images or containers, and is generally pointless.
