Red Hat Bugzilla 2176044 0 unspecified CLOSED nfs-utils has a non-readable file under /usr 2025-05-16 07:41:25 UTC

Description Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2024-10-29 10:23:43 UTC
Description of problem:
drwx------ 1 root root 14 Sep 29 16:21 /usr/share/mdadm

The file is packaged, so not providing read access to users on it is not useful [1]. It breaks 'find' by normal users, makes it harder to build images or containers, and is generally pointless.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mdadm-4.3-4.fc41.x86_64
