Description Romain Geissler 2024-12-05 14:37:11 UTC
Hi,

Please branch and build python3-dotenv in epel10. It is a dependency (test only ?) of python-flask.

Cheers,
Romain

Comment 1 Romain Geissler 2024-12-05 14:40:33 UTC
Trying to mockbuild it right now, it fails with:

Problem: nothing provides requested (python3dist(sh) < 3~~ with python3dist(sh) >= 2.0.2)

Comment 2 Ben Beasley 2024-12-05 14:46:49 UTC
With python-sh, bug 2330578, the current rawhide branch builds for EPEL10 without modification.

Comment 3 Romain Geissler 2024-12-09 20:00:15 UTC
With python-sh being in stable EPEL 10 now, a scratch build from the rawhide branch works fine: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=126649301

Ping. Can we get python-dotenv in branched and built in epel10
The rawhide version builds without any modificationi in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain python-dotenv in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS tdawson);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-dotenv/adduser

Comment 5 Gwyn Ciesla 2024-12-16 17:37:47 UTC
I'll branch and build.
