Description of problem: Building gnubg on ppc causes segfault at gnuplot step.

How reproducible:
mock build of gnubg in CVS on ppc.  This particular build error for gnubg does
not occur on x86.

This built successfully at release time of the current version of gnubg.  Still

Build still fails, now on all arches, same error.  Build succeeds on FC6.

Any chance this will be fixed before FC7t4?  I'd rather not have gnubg dropped
because it won't build.  If I can assist, let me know.

Gnubg builds on FC-6 with gnuplot-4.0.0-18.fc7.i386.rpm installed.  Freeze in
place, will test more after release.
