Xfce desktop after 4.20 upgrade
When opening an application from either the menu or panel, it creates a temporary desktop icon, which disappears when the application is closed. The application .desktop files remain in the ~/Desktop folder. Thanks a lot for testing and filing this report. please update rawhide to get xfdesktop package version 4.20.0-2 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=127269163 Build Configuration: * Build desktop menu module: yes * Build support for desktop icons: yes Include support for file/launcher icons: yes * Mount notification support: yes * Windowing: X11: yes Wayland: no This should be fixed. xfdesktop upgraded to 4.20.0-2 this morning and after rebooting, the icons are now on the desktop. Thank you. Thanks for the feedback. I was affected by this as well and appreciate how quickly the problem got fixed, especially given the holidays. Thanks! |
