Comment 1 Sandro 2025-01-18 09:50:43 UTC
This release is the first with `dsak-expr` merged in (see link), thereby obsoleting `python-dask-expr`. Once this has landed in rawhide, I will retire `python-dask-expr` from Fedora.

Comment 2 Elliott Sales de Andrade 2025-01-19 02:55:36 UTC
Waiting on a fix for a test failure from upstream, and I also noticed another bug while there that could be a problem.

Sandro writes in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2336287

> I have submitted PRs for dask and distributed[1,2]. I was able to handle all the test failures (details in the PR). The issue with distributed took a bit more > digging to get to the root cause, but it all boiled down to one and the same issue, which I tackled.

> Please take a look if the PRs suit your workflow. I can also take care of the bootstrap dance once the PRs are approved and merged, if you like.

Comment 7 Kaleb KEITHLEY 2025-04-24 12:48:01 UTC
It would be nice to get this updated so that it can be built in epel10

Comment 8 Sandro 2025-04-24 14:15:06 UTC
There was a little setback with 2025.3.0. Meanwhile 2025.4.0 has been released (both `dask` and `distributed`). Both packages should now be ready for all architectures. Though tests in distributed might still require a little tickling every now and then.
