*** Bug 2339803 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Looks like a rebase to the newest version (bz2338311) will solve the build failures, the changelog ( https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/freeipmi-announce/2025-01/msg00000.html ) reads: "Fix gcc 14.x build failures." Actually one more patch is needed, https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/freeipmi-devel/2025-02/msg00000.html This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle. Changing version to 42. @pcahyna 1.6.15-3 has been committed to rawhide but not built yet, any reason not to build it? We need the fix in 42 also because freeipmi has many items (over 20) in /usr/sbin preventing the merge. No particular reason, it is building now. FEDORA-2025-10312bebaa (freeipmi-1.6.15-3.fc43) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 43. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-10312bebaa FEDORA-2025-10312bebaa (freeipmi-1.6.15-3.fc43) has been pushed to the Fedora 43 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. now there is a f42 build as well. |
