Description Kaleb KEITHLEY 2025-03-02 18:45:44 UTC
Please branch and build python-importlib-metadata in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain python-importlib-metadata in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS: kkeithle);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-importlib-metadata/adduser

I've done the version for EPEL8 and EPEL9, so I'll sort out the EPEL10 version in the next week or so.

Comment 3 Frank Crawford 2025-03-15 00:27:06 UTC
Note, if you need a version for EPEL 10.0 let me know and I'll get one built for it.

Comment 4 Frank Crawford 2025-03-15 01:11:47 UTC
Currently it won't build for EPEL 10.0 as pyfakefs was only built for EPEL 10.1. I've requested an update to also build for 10.0, and will see what happens.
