Please branch and build python-importlib-metadata in epel10. If you do not wish to maintain python-importlib-metadata in epel10, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS: kkeithle); please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-importlib-metadata/adduser

FEDORA-EPEL-2025-d07320114a (python-importlib-metadata-8.6.1-1.el10_1) has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 10.1. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-d07320114a
Note, if you need a version for EPEL 10.0 let me know and I'll get one built for it.
Currently it won't build for EPEL 10.0 as pyfakefs was only built for EPEL 10.1. I've requested an update to also build for 10.0, and will see what happens.
