Description Karel Volný 2025-04-24 11:30:30 UTC
Trying to upgrade to Fedora 42 using the fedora-upgrade script, it failed.
I've traced the problem down to dnf outputting things when it shouldn't.

The command causing the script failure is

# dnf download -q --destdir /tmp/tmp.92CwL3JCN0 '--disablerepo=*' --enablerepo=fedora --releasever=42 fedora-repos
Downloading Packages:

When -q is given, the text "Downloading Packages:" shouldn't be outputted.

dnf5-5.2.12.0-2.fc41.x86_64

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Petr Pisar 2025-04-24 14:21:57 UTC
Do you mean that "Downloading Packages:" title is printed alone?
