The difference is because EPEL 10 is built against each minor version of RHEL 10: https://carlwgeorge.fedorapeople.org/presentations/epel-10-overview-2024-f40-release-party.pdf Exactly, EPEL 10.1 is currently being built against CentOS Stream 10, which will eventually become RHEL 10.1. At this point in the release cycle, new packages are - by default - only added to EPEL 10.1+, and adding them to EPEL 10.0 too is additional work. Given that there is now a request for that, we can do this - though I can't promise how quickly. :) I’ve looked into this, and I think it can be done as follows: argmax: patch to allow the current epel10.0 version, 0.3.1 etcetera: branch from epel10.1 faccess: branch from epel10.1 lscolors: branch epel10.1 nix: patch to allow the current epel10.0 version, 0.29.0 tempfile: patch to allow the current epel10.0 version, 3.17.1 tikv-jemallocator/tikv-jemallocator-sys: patch out the custom allocator, as this package was doing until very recently, since jemalloc was never built for epel10.0 I will need to double-check this with some test builds before actually shipping something, but I think I can get this done in the next day or so. (In reply to Ben Beasley from comment #3) > etcetera: branch from epel10.1 That one should be: patch to allow 0.8.0. FEDORA-EPEL-2025-4a5715a7df (rust-argmax-0.3.1-8.el10_0, rust-faccess-0.2.4-9.el10_0, and 2 more) has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 10.0. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-4a5715a7df FEDORA-EPEL-2025-4a5715a7df has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 10.0 testing repository.
