Triaged with Fedora-Rawhide-20250902.n.0 (anaconda-core-43.36-1.fc44, gtk2-2.24.33-22.fc43). The issue happens not only when creating a new device, but also when removing an existing one. Attaching a screenshot for a better idea. Created attachment 2105580 [details]
screenshot of a wrong dialog placement
This is relevant to all blivet-gui dialogs, not just the "Create device" one. Sending an example screenshot of another dialog. Created attachment 2106835 [details]
alt-screenshot-blivet-gui-breakage
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 43-final by Fedora user kkoukiou using the blocker tracking app because: This bug causes the Blivet GUI dialogs (e.g. the ‘Create device’ window) to render in the top-left corner with low contrast, degrading usability. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 2390900 *** This is already fixed in Beta. |
