Comment 1 Yanko Kaneti 2025-10-01 10:57:12 UTC
Liferea is a victim of the pygobject upgrade fiasco.
Switching to 1.16.5 , libpeas2 and with some additional fixes it should work for what is in f43, but I wonder if we should wait for 1.16.6 which seems to have another major refactor incoming

Comment 2 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2025-10-01 14:41:17 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 43-final by Fedora user decathorpe using the blocker tracking app because:

liferea does not launch on Fedora 43 at all, apparently due to changes in pygobject3 3.52+.

Comment 3 Yanko Kaneti 2025-10-01 15:52:07 UTC
On a second thought I'll update to 1.16.5 that should at least work
