Description tomas 2025-12-07 16:15:46 UTC
Please branch and build https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/gkrellm/gkrellm-daemon/ in epel10

Comment 1 Troy Dawson 2025-12-08 18:54:03 UTC
We(I) haven't build gkrellm in EPEL10 because the gui is an X11 gui, but I never thought of just building the daemon.
Are you fine with just the daemon and not the gui?

Comment 2 Adam Goode 2025-12-08 19:33:12 UTC
Sure, it's useful to have the daemon, though in the past I always did remote gkrellm with X tunneling.

Comment 3 tomas 2025-12-08 20:16:21 UTC
Yes I am perfectly happy if you can build just the deamon, me myself is not using the gui, only the daemon.

Comment 4 Troy Dawson 2025-12-08 21:30:17 UTC
I tried building the whole thing, just to see what would happen. It looks like XWayland works very will with this. I'm excited for that. I'm going to build the whole thing, for both epel10 and 10.1.
