This is a tracking bug for Change: GRUB EFI for Confidential Computing

An independent separate incarnation (package) of the GRUB bootloader for UEFI only that contains a minimal number of built-in modules, and can quickly boot a Unified Kernel Image (UKI) using Bootloader Specification (BLS) files. It will be built separately from the main GRUB package, and does not replace it for general usage.

If you encounter a bug related to this Change, please do not comment here. Instead create a new bug and set it to block this bug.

Aoife,

Pardon if I created more work for you but I was following this guide 

https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/New_Package_Process_for_New_Contributors/#create_your_review_request 

then I created the following ' Review Request: grub2-confidential-computing - Grub image for use in confidential computing '

which seems to be a duplicated of this one, I am not sure. 

Let me know if I am understanding the process or just complicating it a bit more.

Hi Aoife, yes, the bz I posted is the new spec for the change proposal.

I would suggest sending a message to the devel list to request help with the package review or better yet, a "review swap." Otherwise, this Change may not land in time.

Yes, that is the plan. Review went well [1] so import & build are the next steps and I plan to do it ASAP.

Finally, the import and build are done for the new grub-cc package.

we have now a scm repo [1] and bodhi updates for rawhide and F45 respectively [2][3]
