Description Xavier Bachelot 2026-07-17 16:37:32 UTC
Spec URL: https://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SPECS/perl-HTML-Query.spec
SRPM URL: https://www.bachelot.org/fedora/SRPMS/perl-HTML-Query-0.09-1.fc45.src.rpm
Description:
The HTML::Query module is an add-on for the HTML::Tree module set. It
provides a simple way to select one or more elements from a tree using a
query syntax inspired by jQuery. This selector syntax will be reassuringly
familiar to anyone who has ever written a CSS selector.

FIX: Add build-require 'coreutils' - it is needed for %{_fixperms}
TODO: Please add version restriction for perl(ExtUtils::MakeMaker) >= 6.76
NO_PACKLIST is provided since this version.

This package fails to build in rawhide.
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=150675586

It looks like "perl(FindBin)" needs to be added to the BuildRequires (maybe to the Requires of perl-Badger?).

Comment 3 Xavier Bachelot 2026-09-29 07:02:50 UTC
Thanks Emmanuel !
I've added the missing Require: to perl-Badger and rebuilt it in Rawhide.
I've also addressed the 2 fixes.
The package should now build fine once the fixed perl-Badger is in the repo.

Sorry, that should be: 4 errors, 0 warnings, 6 filtered, 4 badness
You'll probably want to add a .rpmlintrc in the repo once the package has been imported.

Comment 6 Xavier Bachelot 2026-10-02 10:30:46 UTC
Hi Emmanuel,

Comment 4 is referring to Encoding::FixLatin.
Could you please take another look ?

Xavier

Copy/pasting the wrong file gives you the wrong content. Who could have guessed?
