This problem is usually due to a driver hogging interrupts during initialization (i.e. when the device driver is loaded). Its basically an informational message. As long as your system keeps good time there is nothing to worry about. This is usually due to sub-optimal device driver code or could be the due to the device behavior itself. Im not certain this is a bug, if it is then its a bug in one of the device drivers. Can the reporter help debug this issue to determine which device driver is involved? Or should the bug be closed? Further info... booting with "report_lost_ticks" boot arg may help to provide more debugging info on this issue. Created attachment 327833 [details]
sysreport
This is a sysreport of the host which has instable clocksource problem.
If you need more info for debugging, please tell me. I will contact with the customer. but maybe something needed to do is not convenient for him.
Is this still a problem for the reporter? Thanks, P. |
