I think I've seen this a few times myself. Have you seen other applications die or freeze when running "yum update" or is Evolution just special? Only evolution that I have noticed in recent times IIRC. Sounds like this bug could very well be elsewhere. Can you keep an eye on this and report back if you see it again? I haven't seen any yum-related hangs in the past couple weeks. I filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=427348 now which is very similar but when trying to start vmware workstation. |
