Patch to set correct fax temp directory
Using this patch results in a few selinux avc denials that can be fixed by adding these policy rules: files_manage_generic_tmp_dirs(hplip_t) files_manage_generic_tmp_files(hplip_t) I am experiencing this bug also and would be happy to assist with any testing if/as required - let me know what needs to be done... This message is a reminder that Fedora 8 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 8. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '8'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 8's end of life. RHEL bug #475181 (though the underlying cause seems to be different). I've tried this now on Fedora 10 (hplip-2.8.12-6.fc10.x86_64) and the fax sending is still broken in the same way.
