Description of problem:
Booting FC9 stops at the grub prompt: grub>.  If I enter 'boot' at the grub
prompt, I get the message: 'Error 8: Kernel must be loaded before booting'.  

I had downloaded FC9 using bittorrent (i386), installed it on an Intel Xeon
platform.  On the system reboot right after installation, I get the problem.

How reproducible:
I have re-installed twice, and dowloaded FC9  twice.  Each time I reboot, I get
the same grub error 'Error 8: Kernel must be loaded before booting'.

Changing version to '9' as part of upcoming Fedora 9 GA.

The information we've requested above is required in order to review this problem report further and diagnose or fix the issue if it is still present.  Since it has been thirty days or more since we first requested additional information, we're assuming the problem is either no longer present in the current Fedora release, or that there is no longer any interest in tracking the problem.
