Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill the idle task!
Changing version to '9' as part of upcoming Fedora 9 GA. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping There are a couple of things going on here: it's possible that this was either a bug in the F-9 i386 xen kernel, or a bug in the RHEL 5.1 32-bit PV on 64-bit host support. In any case, I've now been able to successfully boot a 32-bit F-9 guest on both a 5.2 and 5.3 64-bit Xen system. Can you try this again and see if it now works? Thanks, Chris Lalancette Hi, this works for me now, thanks :) Thanks |
