Description of problem:

Will not boot. Ist reboot hangs after decompiling kernel, second reboot hangs
gave login prompt but screen was flashing wildly - no gui.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.6.25.6-76.fc9.i686

How reproducible:
On boot

Steps to Reproduce:
1.First boot hang was power on initiated
2.Second boot hang was ctrl-alt-del initiated

  
Actual results:
No gui - hang

Expected results:
GUI

Third reboot in Interactive mode - logged in and ran startX - system reported
fatal server error: failed to load Nvidia

problems with the nvidia module need to go to nvidia, we can't support
closed-source modules.   It probably just needs rebuilding though.  (You need to
rebuild it every time you update the kernel).

Solution was to reinstall Nvidia drivers in new kernel and reboot.

$ sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.09-pkg1.run
