Third reboot in Interactive mode - logged in and ran startX - system reported
fatal server error: failed to load Nvidia

Comment 2 Dave Jones 2008-07-03 15:52:45 UTC
problems with the nvidia module need to go to nvidia, we can't support
closed-source modules. It probably just needs rebuilding though. (You need to
rebuild it every time you update the kernel).

Comment 3 Techbridge 2008-07-03 16:00:14 UTC
Solution was to reinstall Nvidia drivers in new kernel and reboot.

$ sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.09-pkg1.run
