Description of problem:
$ mplayer -ao alsa "a movie file"
[...]

mplayer: pcm_pulse.c:296: pulse_write: Assertion `pcm->last_size >= (size *
pcm->frame_size)' failed.

mplayer works well with pulse(PulseAudio audio output).
